How to use the online whiteboard
- Pick a tool: pen, line, arrow, rectangle, ellipse or text. Choose a color and line width, then draw with your mouse, finger or stylus.
- Use ✥ Move to drag things around and ⌫ Eraser to delete whole shapes or strokes with one tap.
- The board is larger than the screen: pan with two fingers, the ✋ tool or the trackpad, and zoom with pinch, Ctrl+scroll or the + and - buttons. Fit shows everything.
- Export a PNG of everything you drew, or save a .json file to open and continue later.
Made for quick thinking
A whiteboard is the fastest way to sketch a process, a user flow, a room layout, a maths solution or a lesson plan. Shapes are stored as vectors, so they stay sharp at any zoom and can be moved or erased individually, unlike a paint program where everything merges into pixels. The board saves automatically in your browser after every change, so a refresh or accidental close does not lose your work.
The PNG export crops to your drawing with a small margin and renders at double resolution, ready to paste into a document, slide or chat. The JSON file is a complete copy you can send to someone else to open on their device.
There is no account and no server: your board never leaves your device. That also means it is not live-collaborative; share the exported file instead.
Is my whiteboard saved?
Yes, automatically in this browser. Use "Save .json" to keep a copy or move it to another device.
Can several people draw at once?
No. It is a private, single-user board. Share a PNG or the .json file to collaborate.
Does it work on an iPad?
Yes, with your finger or Apple Pencil. Two fingers pan and pinch zooms.
