How to remove duplicate lines
- Paste your list with one item per line: email addresses, keywords, names, product codes or log lines.
- Press the highlighted Remove duplicates button. The first occurrence of each line is kept, in its original position, and the status line shows how many lines were removed.
- Tick Ignore case first if "Apple" and "apple" should count as the same, then copy the cleaned list.
Why dedupe a list?
Duplicate entries creep in whenever lists are merged: two exports of a mailing list, keyword ideas from several tools, attendee lists from different forms. Sending two emails to the same person looks careless, and duplicates in data can skew counts and totals. Removing them by hand is slow and error-prone, especially with hundreds or thousands of lines.
The tool compares whole lines. With "Ignore case" ticked, "Apple" and "apple" count as the same line, and the trim option ignores spaces at the start and end of lines so stray spaces do not hide a duplicate. Because the original order is kept, you can dedupe a ranked list without losing the ranking. If you also want the list alphabetical, apply a sort afterwards from the same page, and use "Count occurrences" to see how often each line appeared.
Lists are processed in your browser and never uploaded, which matters for customer data.
