How to extract keywords from text

  1. Paste an article, a competitor's page, product reviews, survey answers or any other text.
  2. Two-word phrases are shown first on this page, ranked by how often they appear. Switch to single words or three-word phrases with the buttons.
  3. Keep Hide stop words on to drop filler words such as "the", "and" and "with", so meaningful terms rise to the top.
  4. Download the list as CSV to sort, tag or compare in a spreadsheet.

What you can learn from extracted keywords

Frequent phrases reveal what a text is really about. Running a competitor's top-ranking article through the extractor shows the topics and terms it covers, which helps you spot gaps in your own content. Running customer reviews or support tickets through it surfaces the words customers actually use, which is gold for ad copy, product descriptions and FAQ pages. For your own drafts, it highlights repetitive wording you might want to vary.

Multi-word phrases (n-grams) are usually more useful than single words, because they capture concepts such as "delivery time" or "battery life" rather than "delivery" and "battery" separately. Only phrases used more than once are listed, which filters out noise.

This is a frequency-based method, so it works in any language that uses spaces between words, and it runs entirely in your browser: confidential documents are never uploaded.

FAQ

How is this different from AI keyword extraction?

It counts real occurrences instead of guessing, so results are transparent and repeatable. It does not group synonyms, which an AI model might.

Can I check how often my target keyword appears?

Yes. Enter it in the target keywords box to see its count and density.

Is my text stored?

Only in your own browser, so it is still there when you return. It is never uploaded.
