URL Extractor

Pull every link out of text or HTML

Your text never leaves your device.

How to extract URLs from text

  1. Paste text that contains links: an email, a document, chat logs, a web page's HTML source or a spreadsheet export.
  2. Every web address starting with http://, https:// or www. is found and listed.
  3. Remove duplicates, sort alphabetically or keep only links to one domain, then copy the list or download it as CSV.

Uses for a link extractor

Collecting links by hand from a long document is slow and easy to get wrong. Marketers pull links from newsletters to check tracking parameters, SEO specialists gather links from a page's source to audit them, researchers collect sources from notes, and support teams extract links from ticket exports. Trailing punctuation, such as the full stop at the end of a sentence, is trimmed so the links work when you click them.

To list the links on a live web page with their anchor text and whether they are internal or external, use our Link Extractor in the SEO tools, which reads HTML structure. This tool works on any plain text, including text that is not HTML at all. Use the Emails or Phone numbers buttons to pull out other contact details from the same text.

Your text is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Copy the PDF text and paste it here.

Will it check if links work?
