Habit Tracker

Monthly habit grid with streaks

Tap a day to tick it. Today is outlined. Your habits are saved in this browser only.

How to use the habit tracker

  1. Add the habits you want to build, such as drinking water, exercising, reading, meditating or going to bed on time.
  2. Each day, tap the day's box for every habit you completed. Today is outlined in orange; future days are locked.
  3. Watch the 🔥 column: it shows your current streak of consecutive days, and hovering shows your best streak. Browse previous months with the arrows.

Tips for habits that stick

Research on habit formation, including a well-known study from University College London, found that new habits take anywhere from about three weeks to several months to become automatic, with an average of around 66 days. Tracking helps because it makes progress visible and turns consistency into a small daily reward. Don't break the chain: a visible streak is a strong motivator, but if you miss a day, simply start again; one missed day has little effect on long-term habit formation.

Start small (two pages, not two chapters), tie a new habit to an existing routine ("after coffee, I stretch for five minutes"), and track no more than a handful of habits at once. Your data is stored only in this browser, with no account or tracking, so it stays private. It is not synced between devices, so pick one device for your daily check-ins.

Can I tick past days?

Yes, any past day in any month. Future days are locked.

How is the streak counted?

Consecutive ticked days up to today. If today is not ticked yet, the streak counts up to yesterday.

Is my data backed up?

It stays in this browser only. Clearing browsing data removes it.
