How to turn audio into a video

  1. Drop an audio file onto the box: a podcast episode, voice note, song or interview (MP3, WAV, M4A).
  2. Choose the start time and length of the clip. 15 to 60 seconds works best for social media.
  3. Add a title and subtitle, such as the episode name and show, and optionally a cover image or headshot.
  4. Pick the size (square, vertical 9:16 or landscape 16:9), the visual (bars, waveform or circle) and colours, and press Preview.
  5. Press Create video; the clip plays through once while it is recorded. Then download the video and post it.

Audiograms for podcasts and musicians

Social networks do not let you post plain audio, so podcasters, radio shows, musicians, coaches and teachers share "audiograms": short videos with cover art, a title and an animated visual that moves with the sound. They stop the scroll, autoplay in feeds and make it clear there is something to listen to. Pull your best 30-second quote from each episode, post it as a vertical clip on Reels, TikTok and Shorts and as a square on LinkedIn and X, and link to the full episode.

The visual is driven by the real audio through your browser's audio engine, and the video is recorded as the clip plays, so creating a 30-second video takes about 30 seconds. Chrome, Edge and Safari can save MP4; Firefox saves WebM. Your files are never uploaded, there is no watermark, and no account is needed. Add burned-in captions afterwards with a subtitle tool if your audience watches without sound.

What is an audiogram?

As long as the audio, but recording happens in real time. Most platforms favour 15–60 second clips.

Which size should I choose?

Vertical 1080 × 1920 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, square 1080 × 1080 for feeds, and 1920 × 1080 for YouTube.
