How to find a date a number of days from today
- The start date is today. Change it if you need another starting point.
- Choose + or −, type the number, and pick days, weeks, months, years or business days.
- The resulting date appears with its weekday and ISO date (YYYY-MM-DD).
Common uses
Deadlines are often expressed as a number of days: 30-day return windows, 60-day trial periods, 90-day visa stays, notice periods, payment terms such as "net 30", medication courses and project milestones. Choose business days for things like bank transfers and shipping estimates; Saturdays and Sundays are skipped, but public holidays are not, so add a day for each holiday in between.
Adding months is different from adding 30 days. One month after 31 January is the last day of February, while 30 days after 31 January is 2 March (1 March in a leap year). Contracts and subscriptions usually renew by calendar month; legal deadlines are often in days. Check which one applies.
Counting rule: day 1 is the day after the start date. Some regulations count the start date as day 1; if yours does, subtract one day. Everything happens in your browser.
