How to rotate a PDF
- Drop the PDF on the box. All pages appear as thumbnails.
- To rotate every page, press ↺ Rotate or ↻ Rotate with nothing selected. To rotate only some pages, use the arrows under each page, or tap pages to select them first.
- Check the thumbnails, then press Save rotated PDF to download the corrected file.
Fix sideways and upside-down scans
Scanners and phone apps often save some pages sideways or upside down, especially when a document mixes portrait and landscape pages such as tables or diagrams. Rotating them permanently means the file opens the right way for everyone who receives it, prints correctly and is easier to read on a phone.
Rotation is saved as a page setting inside the PDF, in multiples of 90 degrees, exactly as professional PDF editors do it. The page content is not redrawn or recompressed, so text stays sharp and selectable and the file size hardly changes. Existing rotations in the file are respected and combined with yours.
Like every PDF tool on this site, it runs entirely in your browser: the file is read from your device, processed locally and saved back to your device. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, no watermark and no daily limit.
FAQ
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Use the ↺ and ↻ arrows under that page, then save.
Will rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page orientation setting changes; content is not re-rendered.
Why does my PDF viewer still show it sideways?
Make sure you opened the downloaded copy, not the original. Some viewers also remember a temporary view rotation; reset it in the viewer.
